Procedure for Residency

Step #1:

Each prospective resident completes a Community/Assessment Fee Agreement. In accordance with the terms of the Community/Assessment Fee Agreement, the deposit will be retained by Whaler’s Cove as a non-refundable resident community and assessment fee, which allows you to proceed to reserve a particular apartment.

Step #2:

The Marketing Director will call you to select the studio, one or two bedroom apartment of your choice.

Step #3:

Each prospective resident will complete an Application for Residence. This application will tell us more about you, your interests and your financial history.

Step #4:

Prior to move-in your primary doctor will be asked to complete a Physician Clearance Form. Also our Resident Service Director will meet you to learn more about your medical history and to begin to plan for your care.

Step #5:

Plan your move-in date and schedule a paper work “closing” to sign other necessary documents and to prepay first and last month’s fee. This is usually done from 1-14 days prior to your actual move-in date.

Step #6:

Move in and experience the warmth of our professionally trained staff, meet new neighbors and begin to enjoy the security off Whaler’s Cove, your new home. Procedure for Residency
